New Page Creation and Live Wikipedia Editing projects require a monthly WikiNative platform subscription, charged separately from the project fee. Plans start at £49 per month. Reading Tilcayo Cats is free and public: you never need a subscription to read it.
Your subscription pays for James’s bespoke, proprietary cloud software, your private workspace, hosting, Gattitos, maintenance and continuing improvements. It also includes your plan’s monthly assessment allowance. Your project fee pays for the professional work we agree. The subscription is not optional, but it gives us a better way to work. Less time chasing documents, repeating instructions and untangling email chains means more time spent getting your project right. All services are ordered through the shop in your platform account, and drafting, comments and review happen on the platform. Google Docs is no longer part of the workflow.
New Page Creation covers researching and writing the page from scratch, or working with you to bring your own or in-house draft up to Wikipedia’s standards, within the agreed scope. I bring eight and a half years of experience to the table.
We collaborate in your private workspace on the platform: correctly sourced, verifiable encyclopaedic prose, a neutral point of view, and the WikiText, references and formatting brought into line with Wikipedia’s content policies, guidelines and Manual of Style requirements. The draft is then tested in my private simulation of Wikipedia’s mainspace, modelled on new-page reviewers at their strictest and least forgiving, and I review and address the findings before upload. Wikipedia remains independently edited, so acceptance and continued retention cannot be guaranteed.
These prices are available exclusively to platform subscribers. These services can only be ordered through the shop inside your WikiNative platform account, and requests, supporting material, reports and draft reviews are all handled within the platform.
| Service | Subscriber price |
|---|---|
| Preliminary Notability Assessment | £49, or one included assessment credit |
| Preliminary Viability Assessment | £73.50, or one included assessment credit |
| Draft Review | £24.50, charged separately |
Additional assessments cost the same on every plan. Draft reviews are never included in the monthly assessment allowance and cannot be purchased using assessment credits.
You must keep a valid payment card on file or maintain sufficient prepaid credit in your WikiNative platform account to cover the work you order. Prepaid account credit is money available to pay charges. It is separate from the assessment credits included with your subscription.
Plans are billed monthly in pounds sterling (GBP) through Stripe, starting on the day you subscribe. Payment is taken on Stripe’s secure checkout page, so your card details never reach the portal. Project fees are paid separately, using the existing payment milestones: for New Page Creation, £900 upfront for the first project stage and a £900 second-stage payment.
Your project covers the work and revisions agreed at the outset. Any work outside that agreed scope is additional and billable. Any additional live Wikipedia editing work that falls outside the project’s agreed scope is charged at £120 per hour. Other additional services are charged at their listed or separately quoted price. The platform subscription does not provide unlimited personal support, calls, drafting, revisions or live editing.
